Our weather station is located at the Tao Caleta Mar Hotel at the east end of the village of Corralejo, very close to the best kite and surf spots in the area. Kite Beach, traditionally known as Punta Pietra or Flag Beach, is the quintessential kitesurfing spot in the north of Fuerteventura, running from east to west. After the curve, the top of the bunker offers a fast, short and very difficult access on the left-hand side. Continue to the left, past the docks of the Hotel Bahia Real. To the left of Punta Elena is a long and easy wave, ideal for longboarders or hydrofoil riders. Below you will find Punta Elena's top and the bottom in the centre. Depending on the swell and tide, these peaks have different sections and levels of difficulty. Waikiki Beach, Chico Pier and Corralejo Pier are in the background.
